Hey Photographer!
With a no-BS approach, a can-do attitude, and my loyal fur missile, Oakley, by my side, I’m here to help you cut through the noise and build a business that works as hard as you do. Let’s take those big, scary dreams and turn them into real, tangible wins—one bold move at a time
As photographers, we know how much effort goes into creating that perfect blog post—whether it’s capturing a wedding, a portrait session, or those behind-the-scenes moments. But why let all that great content sit on your blog alone? Let’s breathe new life into your blog posts and extend their reach by repurposing them for different platforms. Here’s how you can repurpose your blog content into eye-catching updates for Google My Business, engaging posts for Facebook, professional updates on LinkedIn, dynamic Reels for Instagram, and informative newsletters.
Google My Business (GMB) is your secret weapon for local SEO and visibility. Keeping your GMB profile fresh with updates can boost your search rankings and draw in potential clients.
“Exciting news! Dive into our latest blog where we explore [Topic] and share insights on [Key Point]. Want to see how it all comes together? Check out the full article on our website! [Link]”
Facebook is still a powerful platform to connect with your audience. Sharing your blog here can keep your followers engaged and drive traffic to your site.
Example:
“Ever wondered about [Topic]? Our latest blog dives into [Key Point] and offers a peek behind the scenes of [Session Type]. Curious? Click here to read the full story: [Link]”
LinkedIn is ideal for showcasing your professional expertise. A well-crafted LinkedIn post can help you position yourself as an industry leader and reach a network of professionals.
Example:
“Check out our latest blog on [Topic]! We delve into [Key Insight] and share valuable tips for [Specific Audience]. Enhance your knowledge and see how these insights can benefit your work: [Link]”
Instagram Reels are a fantastic way to reach a broader audience with engaging content. Repurposing your blog into a Reel can help you connect with followers in a fun and dynamic way.
Example:
“Quick tips from our latest blog on [Topic]! 1) [Tip 1] 2) [Tip 2] 3) [Tip 3] For more, check out the full blog via the link in our bio!”
Newsletters are a great way to keep your subscribers informed and engaged. Repurposing your blog content into a newsletter ensures your audience stays updated with your latest insights.
Example:
“Hi [Subscriber Name],
Our latest blog is live and ready for you! We explore [Topic] and share tips on [Key Point]. Discover how these insights can enhance your work. Read the full blog here: [Link]”
Repurposing your long-form blog content is more than just a time-saver—it’s a strategy to broaden your reach and engage your audience in diverse ways. But that doesn’t mean you need to be everywhere. Focus on the one or two social platforms where your ideal clients are most active.
If I had to choose my top three for consistent engagement, they’d be: 1) my blog, 2) my newsletter, and 3) a select social platform where my clients are most active.
Remember, consistency is key. It’s more valuable to be reliably present than to post sporadically and disappear.
